The 26th edition of the
NPC Gainesville Championships were held at the Lincoln Auditorium on
November 12 under the promotional efforts of John Babb, Clovis Watson
and the Gainesville Gym.

..... Joel Thomas, 21, of Lake City was
making his second contest appearance and took the middleweight class win
by a unanimous decision.
.....
..... Joel moved into the final comparisons
and pose down of the class winners and once again took all first place
votes from the judging panel for the unanimous victory.

..... First time competitor Jill Greaves, 44,
of Alachua captured the lightweight class win by taking all first place
votes from the judging panel.

..... Jill entered into the final comparisons
and pose down of the class winners once again took all first place votes
from the judges for the unanimous overall win.

..... The Figure Division had four athletes
competing and it was first time competitor Toni Willis, 25, of Palatka
taking a two round total of 10 points for the unanimous win.
